Gabe makes me laugh!

My 3rd child keeps me grinning throughout the day and often gives me much reason to laugh.  Here are just a few of the things I’ve written down over the past couple of weeks that have kept me laughing:

Gabe to his buddy Owen: “Owen, I found a part of my body and I took it off.  See?  It kind of didn’t really hurt.”  (about a dried piece of skin on the sole of his foot he had just peeled off!)

“Mom, I really like this bikini bread!”  with a chuckle “It’s called zucchini bread, Gabe.”  “Oh yeah!  Can I have another piece of bikini bread?”

Me: “Gabe what do you want to be when you grow up?”  Gabe:  “A daddy.”  Me:  “Oh, that’s sweet!  But what do you want to DO when you grow up?”  Gabe:  “Have kids.”  Me:  “But what will your job be?”  Gabe:  “A dishwasher….at night!  I’ll make lots of money and play with my kids in the morning.”

Gabe:  “Mom, when will it be time for launch?”  Me (with puzzled expression)  “What did you say honey?”  Gabe:  “When will it be time for launch?  I’m hungry!!”  Me:  “Do you mean lunch?”  Gabe:  (giggling)  “Oh yeah!!!  LUNCH!”

Gabe as he is trying to play quietly with a hot wheels car in church on Sunday morning, “Hey mom!” in a whisper.  “I really like this hot wheels car because when I try to make it stop it skittles.”  (I think he meant skids!)
