In the U.S.A.
We are here in Richland, enjoying seeing family and trying to get into living here for awhile
I will do my best to post something fairly regularly (at least once a month). We had a wonderful farewell to Togo. Our teammates and dear Kabiye friends sent us off with gifts and love and prayers and encouragement and our sponsoring church welcomed us with the same. We have been greatly blessed!
The Lord has made Himself known to us as the precious giver of good gifts and also shepherd as he leads us into new pastures, as well as our stronghold. He has made it so apparent to me over the past week that “without Him I have no good thing” and “unless the LORD builds the house, those who try labor in vain” I can’t do anything without Him and it is He who does the doing through me. AND He Himself is the joy and peace…without Him nothing is joyful or peaceful….NOTHING!
Becky,
Welcome back to the States. If Christine and I get out that way in the next year or so, we will do everything in our power to see you, Dave, and the rest of your family.
God bless,
Mike
It is wonderful having you here with your family.
So glad you all made it safely and that your farewell to Togo went well. I know you will miss your “home”, but I also know that you live every season of this life as a temporary one. You bless me with your spiritual depth, understanding, and maturity.
If only Washington were closer to Texas–I would love to see you!
